Medals success for team
Walsall martial arts enthusiasts swept to success in the south by winning three medals at a major competition.
A team of five from Rushall Tae Kwon-Do Club travelled to Hemel Hempstead to represent the region in the London area championships.
Simon Denham, Vicky Carter and Martin O'Neill all gained bronze medals in the sparring and patterns section of the competition.
Instructor Richard Newcombe said: "They all performed really well, particularly as two of them had never entered a major tournament before."
The club meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Shelfield school in Broad Way, High Heath, Pelsall.
